Harrogate in Bloom is an independent organisation promoting and improving the floral image and beauty of Harrogate.

We are a group of volunteers formed in 1989, in order to support North Yorkshire Council in maintaining the town’s excellent reputation for horticultural excellence.

Over the years, Harrogate has won gold medals in Yorkshire in Bloom, Britain in Bloom and Europe in Bloom.

Founder members still in the group are Pam Grant, President, and Chris Beard, Treasurer and Horticultural Expert.
